Shooting and Editing Portraits

Portrait - Shimul

It has been a while since I last edited and uploaded a portrait that I took. It’s mainly because it’s the month of Ramadan in Bangladesh — when people seldom go out — and because I’ve been a bit lazy lately.

Like anything else, post processing, and photography itself, is a constant process of learning. The more you do, the more you learn. I don’t do it a lot, so my mojo of learning new photography and post-processing techniques don’t last that long.

In any case, this photo was taken a while ago and I finally got around to edit it. More importantly, it’s the first photo I edited using Photoshop on my retina MacBook Pro. I should say that it probably looks better on my laptop than it actually is. 😀
